Selling price (販売価格): the price in yen shown on each product page, which includes consumption tax. The total for an order is stated in our confirmation email.

Charges in addition to the price (商品代金以外の必要料金): the delivery charge, which depends on the delivery address and the size and weight of the parcel and is stated in the confirmation email before you pay, and any fee that your bank or payment method charges for the payment. For shipments outside Japan, import duty and taxes charged by the destination country are paid by the recipient.

Quantity (販売数量): the quantities offered on the product page, up to ten of a line in the cart; if you wish to order more, write to us. Displayed prices can change, and the price that applies is the one on the product page when you send your order request.

How to order (申込方法): choose pieces on the website, add them to the cart and press the order-request button, which opens your email app with the list filled in, or write to hello@velvetriverdawn.com. The request is an offer; the sale is concluded when we confirm it by email.

Payment method (代金の支払方法): agreed in the confirmation email. This website does not take payment itself and never asks for card details.

Payment timing (代金の支払時期): the deadline is stated in the confirmation email. We dispatch the order once payment has been confirmed unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Delivery area (引渡し地域): within Japan. Delivery to other countries is possible only by agreement, so please ask before sending an order request.

Delivery time (引渡時期): the expected dispatch date is stated in the confirmation email, and we write to you if it changes.

Delivery method (配送方法): ordinary courier service named in the confirmation email. The packaging is chosen to protect glass, ceramics and lacquerware; please inspect the parcel when it arrives.

Returns for the customer's convenience (お客様都合による返品): accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items in their original condition and packaging, after you have agreed the return with us by email. The customer pays for sending the item back. Used drinkware and tableware, final-sale items and specially ordered pieces are excluded.

Faulty, damaged or wrong items (不良品・誤送品): write to us within 7 days of delivery with your order date or number and photographs. We pay the return shipping and offer a full refund or a replacement. This does not limit your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Contract Act.

Cancellations (キャンセル): possible by email before dispatch, with a full refund of the amount paid. Details are in the Refund and Return Policy at velvetriverdawn.com/refund-policy.

Product information (商品説明): descriptions, materials, sizes and care instructions are given on each product page. Because many pieces are handmade, colour and finish differ slightly from one item to the next.

Handling of personal information (個人情報の取扱い): described in the Privacy Policy at velvetriverdawn.com/privacy-policy. The website sets no cookies and uses no tracking tools.
