Produced by skilled craftspeople in Gifu Prefecture, this small cup and steel saucer set features a thermochromic pattern that transforms when the liquid inside exceeds 45 degrees Celsius. At room temperature the botanical design appears in black; as the cup warms, a colourful floral motif blooms across the surface. Hand wash recommended to preserve the colour-change coating.
